  • 2 cups  poha (flattened rice)
  • 1 medium pyaaz baarik kata hua
  • 2 tablespoons peanuts
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 8–10 curry leaves
  • Medium size potato chopped
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (taste ke according adjust karein)
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Indori Poha Kaise Banaye – Step by Step

Step 1: Poha kaise galaye

Poha ko running water me 1–2 baar gently wash karein. Extra pani nikal dein. Ab thoda sa namak aur shakkar mix karke side me rakh dein.

 

Step 2: Tadka Banayein

Pan me oil garam karein. Mustard seeds add karein aur crackle hone dein. Ab peanuts daal kar crispy hone tak roast karein. Iske baad curry leaves, green chili aur onions add karein. Onions soft hone tak sauté karein.

Step 3: Masale Add Karein

Ab turmeric powder add karein aur jaldi se mix karein taaki masala jale nahi.

Step 4: Poha Mix Karein

Soaked poha pan me add karein. Low flame par gently mix karein taaki poha tootey nahi. Lid cover karke 2–3 minutes steam hone dein.

Step 5: Garnish Aur Serve Karein

Gas band karein. Ab lemon juice, fresh coriander, sev aur pomegranate seeds add karein. Halki haath se mix karein.

Indori Poha ko jalebi ya masala chai ke saath serve karein.
